Have you all been staying cool? Where I am, it has been unbelievably hot and I swear you're going to find me in a puddle under my bed at this rate. Despite that though, I promised I'd play catch up and that's what I've been trying to do this week. At last I obtained the final volume of QQ Sweeper and got the time to read it. This next morsel is definitely one to check out.
QQ Sweeper
Mangaka: Motomi, Kyousuke
Status: Completed (technically), 15 chapters.
Genre: Romance, Shoujo, School life, Supernatural
Read it Here: http://www.mangahere.co/manga/qq_sweeper/
What is QQ Sweeper: Fumi is just your average high school girl trying to get by except she doesn't remember her past and is on a quest to find her perfect prince charming. Kyutaro on the other hand is a Sweeper helping to clean away the negative energy that appears in people's hearts. When Kyutaro and Fumi's lives cross everything begins to change. Will Fumi be able to remember her past and will Kyutaro be able to keep her safe from the things that dwell in the dark?
My Opinion: The mangaka Kyousuke Motomi will always have a special place in my heart considering Beast Master was one of the absolute first sets of manga I ever owned. So I might be a bit biased, but I love the work of this mangaka and as soon as I came across this series I knew I'd have to add it to my collection. I'm glad to say I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. The story line of QQ Sweeper is really interesting and kept me reading through to the "end". I really like the characters and the artwork as well. As you may have noticed above I noted the manga is technically complete- this is because this manga will only be under the title of QQ Sweeper for these three volumes, but the story continues on under the new title of Queen's Quality. So far I have not found any of these, but I can't wait until they are released to continue with the characters. The story itself while has it's cute moments definitely has a beautiful balance of a darker tone and you want to know what is going to happen. One of the fun things about this manga is that it makes me want to clean after reading it, so if you're looking for a little motivation in that regard this manga might help do the trick as well. Overall I really highly recommend this manga. It's short, sweet, extremely interesting, and as of right now I feel it could be enjoyed by guys and gals.
Thanks again for reading and hanging in there these last few quiet months. Pixie has been busy with work, Cinder-san has been really sick this summer, and I've had general overall bad luck. For me though, things have been starting to straighten out a bit so I'm hoping I can do better at bringing you plenty of manga if not some anime here at there (I have a lot more time to read then watch stuff right now lol).
Looking forward to serving you again!
