Yes, I'm here. I've been a little wrapped up in a project of mine so it took me a bit to pull myself away long enough to give you a post this evening. It sounds like my sweet Pixie-chan is sick, so let's all wish her good health shall we? So today I felt I'd give you a serving of ice cream topped off with cherries that stain the vanilla with the color of blood. After all, what's better to go with a short assassination story. Let me offer you-
Kurenai No Ansatsusha
Mangaka: Yamaguchi Mikoto
Genre: Action, ecchi, gender bender, one shot, shounen.
Status: Completed, one chapter
Read it Here: http://www.mangahere.co/manga/kurenai_no_ansatsusha/
What is it: Virgil is just trying to live a simple life when he is mistaken for being the Assassin of Crimson. Will he lose his life due to an error or will there be more to his story?
My Opinion: This manga is another short and sweet piece, but the contents are definitely not sweet. This is a darker story with a few moments of humor, but it also has a very interesting story line. I liked the art style, it went well with the theme of the story. The character's were interesting. It was a bit predictable, but certainly worth a read. It's dark and I would recommend more for ages over 17. The manga itself is directed more toward a male audience I imagine, but I enjoyed it. It is a piece that it would have been cool to see it go beyond just one chapter. If your looking for something on the darker/bloodier end of the spectrum check it out, it's a great quick read. If you don't like things along those lines, please check out some our other menu items, I'm sure we are serving something to your tastes.
I hope you all are having a great start to your weekend and I look forward to serving you next time!
