Hello lovelies,
So I’m a bit annoyed at myself because I meant to share this with you all so long ago, but I guess it’s better late than never. This is a fairly new card game that has been released that I think a lot of my personal friends would love to try out. It has a lot of the same schematics as Magic the Gathering (which I don’t play so forgive me if I’m wrong, it’s what I’ve been told). So because I fail when it comes to teaching the youtube video below will help me to share some of the basics of the game. When I first came across this game I was immediately drawn to the gorgeous artwork. It’s a game designed in Japan so it definitely has an anime art style feel. It’s a simple enough game to learn, but isn’t so simple that it’s not any fun. There are a lot of little things to learn, but once you get playing its lots of fun. The story base of the game is really interesting, and I love the different deck sets. One of the things I thought was really cool that I was able to get a starter set with two full playable decks that I can take with me to play with others whenever I want. I also have a solo starter deck that I can use to play as well. I can’t wait to get ahold of more sets and try out of the different decks. My current favorite is a light deck of Faria, the Sacred Queen. I’m currently on the hunt for one of the vampire decks, it seems like I always just miss them when they are in stock. If you like Magic the Gathering I do highly encourage you to check it out. One of the only complains I’ve heard about it so far and I can agree with, is that some of the translations for the directions and such are broken English and it can take a bit to figure out what they mean. On the whole though, once you start playing the game you can catch on pretty quick. Pix and I were able to get the majority of it figured out within about two hours of trying different things. So if all of you amazing people out there can help make this game more popular so it can stay in distribution I’d love you all. It really is a great game, just check it out for yourself! *Sami-chan Welcome to Chibi Bites Café, how can I serve you today?
So I have a bit of a confession to make. I’ve been ridiculously behind on all of my anime and manga because of this game that Pixie got me started on. She can tell you just as much as I can how ridiculously addicting this game can become. Knight’s Fable Can be found here: http://knight.r2games.com/ This is a non-download game where you get to choose one of four characters and proceed on a quest to save the world. I’m sharing this game because it does have a bit of an anime feel to it (in my opinion). I personally don’t understand why I’m so addicted to this game. The story is interesting and I love the art style for it. One the other hand it’s one of those games that has automatic fighting so you’re not doing a whole lot, a lot of little quests, and you get a limit on how much you can do each day. You can pay to progress through the game faster, but one of the things I’ve really liked about this game is that you can progress without paying. There are tons of things you can do in a day and the daily logins are nice to receive. The game is really simple, so anyone can jump into it and figure out how to play. One of the little things that bugs me is that they do start to give you a bunch of items that generally you can’t use until a higher level so you want to hold onto some of them in order to use them later. As you level up, you’re able to open up new quests, and new upgrades, including mounts, beasts, and fellow heroes you can fight with. You have your own city and if you want you can easily become friends with anyone for more experience or you can skip friends all together and play on your own. It doesn’t requires a huge amount of human interaction with others even when you make friends with people and that is something I really like. One of my biggest complaints about it is that is addicting enough that it can be really time consuming and you don’t get a whole lot of anything else done. As of right now I’m making myself behave and get stuff done instead of playing for hours on this game. For those of you who are interested in playing the game I play on the S4- twisted spire server and my character’s name is Revira, so I’d love to see you there! On the whole this is a great game to check out for some basic game play, an interesting story, cool characters, and easy leveling. It’s also fun to compete against friends in seeing who can figure out the tricks to leveling up faster. Hope you’ll all check it out! *Sami-chan |
