Hello Lovelies,
Here is the pumpkin I painted for Halloween. What about all of you, what did you do for Halloween? I love Five Nights at Freddy's and I had a lot of fun painting this piece! I hope you all are having a fabulous Halloween and are enjoying yourselves. Stay safe tonight! *Sami-chan Cindi-San here thought I would share a pic of a small canvas piece I did for a friend who loves the Nightmare Before Christmas. I seen this idea on line and I loved it. So I thought I would try my hand at it. It was done on a very small canvas with acrylic paints. It took me a couple of days to finish it. My friend was very excited to see it and hung it up right away.
Below is a pic of the original I seen online. Sadly I don't know the name of the artist. One of our readers was kind enough to share a pic of some of her art work. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
This is a mixed media project that I did in a day. I used M0d Podge to attach tissue paper to the canvas for the back ground. The other items are from the Halloween section in the scrap booking area of the local craft store. I used a hot glue gun to attach some of the pieces and the Mod Podge for parts taken from scrap booking papers. I am very happy with how it turned out and wanted to share. If anyone else would like to share projects or other ideas with us please feel free to contact us. Good evening lovelies,

If you have a con coming up and are looking for a really quick and easy way to join the cosplay crowd this is the perfect last minute cosplay piece that's easy to make. Again all credit to the person who came up with this idea! Let me know if you try this DIY out yourself! *Sami-chan I am aweful. I nearly forgot to write my post for this week and all you are getting is a little video. But I am going to blame my lack of a functional computer. Hopefully once I get my check I will finally be able to get one and start watching anime again. God its been so long since I've watched a new anime.
This video has some good advice on cosplay fabrics. Especially if you are a beginner and is totally lost when it comes to the millions of different fabric types, this is a great place to start. Also, if you are looking for other cosplay related advice you should check out the other videos on her channel, MangoSirene. She has a lot more tips and tutorials. Well, thats all I've got for you today. Leave a comment if you have any favorite fabrics for cosplay, I'd love to know. Otherwise, I will be back in a couple weeks with another post. *Pixie |
